Pajama School?

Is GW one of those schools where students will go to class in their pajamas or sweats? Thanks!

I think you can do that at pretty much any school, except maybe like vanderbilt (it's not like you COULDN'T wear pjs there but it's notorious for being one of those schools where ppl try to look good). alot of my college friends talk about getting grungier in college than they were in high school.

My brother (an '05 grad from GWU) remarked that GW is a sea of Louis Vuitton, Burberry, and Gucci. Compared to the average school, GW students are much more focused on what they wear.

that's not a good thought.. considering how i'm a girl who will be attending GW in the fall and really am not interested in expensive garb or any kind of name brands in general. in fact, i'm not even able to afford such clothes. yes, i'm going to GW, the second most expensive school in the nation, so naturally one would assume that i can, but what i say is definitely the truth. AND even if i could afford such clothes, i wouldn't bother to spend my money on materialistic things.

haha, me too - i'm as cheap as they come and i'll be at elliot next fall. from what i have seen around campus (i've visited 3 times) is that the Gucci crowd is present, but they are more of an exaggerated minority (i.e. GW gets that reputation, but not all students are quasi-paris hiltons).

thanks buff :)

I'm a freshman at GW and although I haven't seen people in PJ's in class but also people tend to just put on jeans and a t-shirt and possibly some concealer if necessary and head to class (especially if it's an 8am class). Don't worry about brands or anything, most people don't really care.
Hope this helps.
