So how bad is it to only send in one standardized test score. In my case, it's just the ACT, which i got a 33 on (i know it's not even that high for Ivies)???
I applies SCEA, so it's kind of too late, but i've been freaking out lately...
lol

Hmmm... well, to know that, I'd have to know your SAT score - of course if it was pretty phenomenally bad then it's better you didn't send it. Did you take the SAT? What about SATIIs? You were required to send those in, right? How do you look to the admissions board as a standardized test taker?

And I wouldn't worry about the 33; it is a little low but it doesn't bar you consideration.

They say on the website that you can submit either the ACT or SAT w/ Subject Tests. I'm sure they're not expecting both.

I reported both the ACT and SAT on the common app, but I only sent the SAT score because it was the better of the two. What's strange is that while the SAT score showed up in early november on my Eli Account, the ACT score also showed up about three weeks later (even though I never really sent it). Hopefully that means my file wasn't chucked into some auto-reject incincerator upon arrival in New Haven.

well, Yale wants either the SAT w/ SAT IIs or the ACT, but most people end up sending both or at least the SAT

And my score for the SAT was a 2060 (i know that's bad)
m-700
cr-680
w-680

math level II was a 770 and i haven't gotten december scores back, so we'll see what happens

oh well

Don't worry about it razzle. I asked Yale admissions why they only required one of the standarized tests and they the ACT has different subjects in it so that makes up for the SAT IIs.

thanks spiritus!
that makes me feel better

now back to my english term paper..haha
