Yale Score Report II

Thanks to many constructive advices, I am "now" brave enough to confront Yale and ask wth's going on.
And I am asking my counselor to fax my scores first thing tomorrow.

I know, it may be too late, or is it?

The application status web page where you log into with your Eli account tells you that Yale has received all the necessary documents for admissions process, blah blah.

Q1: SAT scores, like AP scores, can be accepted later? I doubt it, but still, why would they say "all the necessary documents?"

Q2: How do counselors fax our SAT scores? Do they already know, or do I have to know and teach them how to send them?

Thanks everyone in advance.

...you need to get over this.

Not "not"

NOW, as in "now," I'm now brave enough, thanks guys

omg my bad lol

wait, so, eating food,

are you going to answer my questions?

or are you still disgusted by my whining behavior you're just going to shun me like that? :<

I agree with eating food...just try to chill a little bit.

But, still, I don't understand why - if you are this nervous/paranoid about this - you won't just give them a call. I seriously doubt that your calling the office will have any effect whatsoever on your admission, if that's what you're worried about.

Oh, to answer your question - SAT scores need to be official. I doubt that they can be faxed by the school (at least from what I can gather).

(haha, I'm like half your thread). THAT, David, was not a very good typo to make - it changed the whole meaning of your post.

they can be faxed, mihan, just so you know :D
... erm, so, I'm still here anxiously waiting for ppl to answer some questions

and everyone thinks I'm a hysteric parnoid loser who has no place else to talk about his problems...

sad, if that were true.

Q1: I'm not sure. I would say that they would want it NOW, if you want to be considered in the early pool.

Q2: Every time you take the SAT, your score is automatically reported to your school. At least, our school gets them. YOur counselors probably know, so just tell them to fax it TOMORROW. Don't forget to say EA applicant on the cover page, though.

thanks limetime
your last answer helped me

Dude... its a week from admissions date. Which means most of the decisions are done and only a few tidbits are being taken care of. You should have called weeks ago...

I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't accept the faxed score, much less bother to file it, much less bother to review it in time. I'm sorry, but I think you are up the creek by now... there are about 5500 applicants and I wouldn't be surprised if they don't care about one application (or several dozen) in such a hectic season...

Do send it though... but a fax is hardly official. A 6th grader can make 2400's using Microsoft paint. Just a note of caution against your bubble...

Isn't it nerve-wracking to think that our fates have already been decided?

So you guys figure my chance is gone?

*sigh. Stupid Collegeboard screwing me up till the end.

oh. I'm blaming Collegeboard because they said they would send the scores within 2 weeks.
And 2 weeks I waited like a fool.

"foolish mortal, thou fate has already been decided, and thou shalt be cast upon the shores of Hell and thou will feel the fury fury of my force..."
-awesome guy.

Don't worry. When in doubt, stay in doubt!

The school's logo must be on the fax for it to work, and Collegeboard probably did send them- can you imagine the amount of mail and email that they get....unbelievable. So do your best to get them the info - they'll be looking at them all week, I am sure.
