panicky last minute questions

It’s getting down to the wire here and I’m getting worried!

I haven’t sent my SAT or ACT scores to the University of Michigan yet. I wanted to get them in for the Oct. 31 deadline, but didn’t realize they sometimes take 2 weeks to arrive instead of one. Both are from June 2007, so they are not new. Michigan says they do not accept rush reports though? I am so confused. Should I go ahead and send a rush report anyway??

If a college recieves my transcript and counselor recommendation before I have submitted my application, what happens? Do they just go ahead and start a file for me?

Yea, I'd also like to know if it's ok if teacher's recommendations can be sent to colleges before the actual applications arrive.

Yup, they'll start a file for you and wait for the rest of your application.

The reason "Michigan says they do not accept rush reports" is because they prefer the reports be grouped and sent electronically, or on electronic media. Rush reports have to be handled individually.

At any rate, what are you waiting for? You should have had Michigan as one of your free schools on the last set of SATs or SAT IIs you took. Go over to collegeboard.com and get your stuff done.
