So there are two colleges i would still like to apply to if i can make the deadline. The deadline for both is Feb 1st. If i were to send my SAT scores today it says preticted time of arrival 1-2 weeks. Do colleges mind if they show up a few days late as long as they were sent before the deadline? Will they still be counted?

Need help, please.

Thanks a lot to anyone who can provide an answer!

I don't want to give you bad advice but I will share our experience with "rush" reports. My S added 4 schools to his list last minute after his DEC 8th ACT. He sent 1 school rush 3 regular they were all marked as received the same day. A few admissions offices will tell you not to send rush as they get downloads on regular basis as they are added to a student's list. As I said I would hate to give you bad advice and have you miss a deadline but (OUR) experience was there was no diffrence is reporting to the schools. We might have got lucky and sent them the day prior to the bi-weekly download who knows but if finances are an issue I thought I would share our experience.

Common wisdom on these boards reflects DTDad's experience that rushing scores is a waste of money. Some schools don't even accept rushed scores.

The vast majority of schools don't care if your scores, transcripts, recs come in slightly after the deadline. The deadline is for the part of the application that you control: The application itself and any supplements.

wait but just tell me this not accepting rush... does not mean they will not recieve them right??? like they will still get them and that will be ok right....

all i mean is ok i rushed them... but even the schools that dont accept rush... that does not mean they will not accpet the scores but rather they will just get them at regular time right? My scores will still reach the schools.. correct?

please sorry i just need a simple answer to calm me down.
