How does one get a paper application/PDF of the application?
Would this hurt one's chance especially at MIT?
With many supplements to be mailed, wouldn't it be better to submit everything in one envelope.
I would appreciate an insight soon.

Some people believe its better to go paper.Because you give a better look to you application(artistic mean). But according to imho and official explanations of schools they both same. And ofc you save money, its easier and its better for environment to go online
I personally had the same dilemma after some research I choose online app.

There’s no preference at MIT for students who apply online vs. on paper. All application materials go to the mail room at MIT, where mail room staffers sort them into applicants’ folders, so the admissions officers won’t necessarily know whether a student applied online or on paper unless it was obvious from the application’s formatting.

The clear advantage to applying online is that the applicant can track submission of the application pieces. Admissions decisions were only available online last year, so even students who apply on paper must create a MyMIT account.

You can obtain a paper application by emailing: admissions@mit.edu.

Thanks for the info. I will pass it along to my D.
