i don't know if this has ever been asked before...actually i'm pretty sure it has (i couldn't find it in search..), but would you recommend sending in the app through mail or just simply go through it online? i kind of think that online would be pretty convenient for the officers and stuff, but would be a little impersonal...?

Most colleges prefer that you submit your application online. They have thousands of applications to go through. They could care less about the personal touch.

that's just what i was looking for. Thanks!
oh, one more thing. in the past when i have taken SAT, SATII, ACT, AP, etc., i've chosen schools to sent to. Is that enough or do I have to send it again? and if it is enough, is there a way to check to see in the school's received the stuff? thanks.

10charbump?

You don't have to send it again if you have in the past unless there has been some sort of mistake.

ACT sent me an e-mail with all the schools my score had been sent to about a week after I asked.

The safest thing to do is apply early to schools so they can let you know if they have everything they need or otherwise just ask the admissions office.
