I'm currently applying to University of Hawaii at Manoa. I have a gpa of 3.2. I'm scared i might not be able to get in as a transfer student into the school. Am I worrying too much? I have done lots of volunteer work, been on sports teams, and participated in many events. I've also finished my high school in Dubai which could help in the experience of an out-of-state school. What are my chances of getting in?

Look at the Common Data Set in section D. http://manoa.hawaii.edu/ovcaa/mir/pdf/CDS0910.pdf 75% of transfer applicants get accepted and you only need a 2.5 GPA from your college to meet the minimums. Can you afford the school?

Hey Erin’s dad
yes I can afford their costs because I’m going through a program called Western Undergraduate Exchange. I’m majoring in Kinesiology and it’s asking me for volunteer work of at least 40 hours. Would playing in a rec league or teams or even volunteering at a community be ok as volunteer work?
