<p>Last night I attended the George School Parent Association meeting via webinar. It was great! I learn so much more about what’s happening than I do from emails and printed materials (not to mention the sparse details I get from my kid). There were parents on from many countries around the world and of course local parents were present in the (physical) room. I signed off with a much greater sense of being part of this community.</p>

<p>Are other schools doing Parent Assn Webinars? If so, you know what I’m talking about. If not, you may want to put a bug in someone’s ear at your school. Doesn’t really cost anything and webinars are not exactly tech prohibitive. I just thought it was really cool; looking forward to the next one.</p>

<p>72 web participants, according to the names I counted in the chat box. The room audience, a little more difficult to say; I don’t think the camera panned the entire room.The meetings are all posted in the parent portal so if you miss it, you can view it at another time (although you won’t be able to interact, obviously).</p>
