parent incomes, i'm confused

I live with both my parents, but only my dad works.

This was asked in an application:

Do you live in a single parent, single-income household?
Obviously I answered 'No'.

But then, the next question says:
What is the source of your family income for the most recent tax year?

Choices:
-Single parent income
-Both parents/remarried parents -OR- single parent with alimony/child support.

so do I check off 'single parent income' ?
I'm just a tad bit confused.. especially with the second choice. What is it saying?

Thanks!

Can you choose “both parents” and put down $0 for your mom’s income?

Both parents. Even if your family has one income, they may be thinking that your financial support is coming from both parents.

From my point of view you answered the first person correctly. It was asking if you lived in a single parent, single income family which you don’t. I think the answer to the second question should be single parent income (that’s what you have - income from a single parent). The other choices are there for multiple incomes.
