I go to a gifted school in Florida that is ranked in the top 10 in America, but because of this I have a lower GPA. Overall unweighted for all of HS I will have around a 3.3 uw GPA but around 4.0 weighted. I'm a very social and friendly person, and I'm pretty sure I'll have a great interview. I play Varsity Lacrosse, President of school clubs, 100 hours community service, and some great recommendations..

I suggest that you call admissions and start to build a relationship with your regional rep. They absolutely can advocate for you but only if they know you. This is their "slow" time, so I encourage you to give them a call now so they can know the person behind the grades and share your enthusiasm. Good luck!

^^^ Correct Johnson. I don't believe they interview. But totally agree about building a relationship with the regional/local rep. These was nothing more rewarding to my s then his walking into an event and having the rep greet him by name. It makes a difference to the rep and to the student.

I agree, start building that relationship! BTW, if your study habits are good I think you'd fit in great at Tulane. Lots of very smart, very interesting kids there. (You do know it's a "no hand holding" school, right?)
