Parents order daughter to stop seeing her boyfriend. Daughter refuses and leaves home. Parents deny financial support and college tuition. Daughter sues parents. Wow, speechless!

Covered to near exhaustion here:

This case reminded me of this funny poster:http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-UdirLCUb01M/Uv1FJ6K6sII/AAAAAAAARNk/54wK9Myxitc/s1600/teenagers.jpg

Don’t even get me started on this! College is NOT a right. In the working world, there are required actions before receiving rewards. If this child is unwilling to do the work of remaining in her family, then she will not reap the benefits - at least I hope the courts have the sense to rule that way. If they don’t, we are all in trouble!

What’s next? Being sued for emotional cruelty because u didn’t give your kid an XBox?

As I walked into the cafeteria last week I saw a kid open her lunchbox and I heard her complain, “Ugh! She packed me this sandwich? Who does she think I am?”

Make your own lunches or don’t complain, kids.

Lol, dead thread, but my mother (who was a teacher) used to make us pack HER lunch, not the other way around. I’ve had cold lunch almost my entire school life, and my parents have NEVER packed my lunch, even when I was 4.
