log in, go to test date and log in again. Delete the url, copy and paste that link, remove the xxxx for the id number, remove any extra spaces and some people have to type in the javascript: at the beginning and hit enter. Mine says scores aren’t available at this time. I almost don’t even want to know.

Congrats Newhavenctmom!! to you and your daughter, you must feel proud and thrilled at the opportunities that will await her. Yes her hard work and your dedicated parenting paid off!! I also have tears in my eyes…enjoy this moment!

I am so happy that I am able to share this wonderful news with you guys. We really have no one who can truly appreciate what this whole thing means to her/us! We are on an island all by ourselves for the most part. So sad. This is a great ride… though bumpy and filled with a few pot holes and some road rage(on her part LOL). I pray that she gets even better news in the months to come. I think I was also growing weary of this process. It is such a huge undertaking.Today I am renewed. Thanks guys… You rock!!! I wish I could hug you all!

It’s too bad that we all don’t have an Avatar or Mii that we can see with our posts! NewHavenMom, I’ve been following your posts for so long and the trials and tribulations along the way. You have been such a tireless advocate for your dauighter! She is so fortunate to have you! I think we all “feel” your elation and relief and we do share in it! I have this funny fantasy that after May 1 of next year, all the Class of 2014 posters will convene in some place warm and sunny and share a glass of real champagne. It’s so nice to have company on this crazy ride. For now, I’m popping a virtual vintage champagne and I’m raising a glass to you, NewHaveMom! Cheers!

congrats NewHavenCTMom!!! So glad to hear the great news for your D and so glad you have found CC to give you a place to talk with like-minded parents!

NewHaven - so happy for you and your DD!! You are such a coach and cheerleader for her! I admire your determination. Please continue to share the good news with all your virtual friends!!

DS (HS 2011) took his 3 subject tests in one sitting. He said he wanted to get through them and not be sitting for tests once a month - or so it seemed to him. He took Bio, Chem and Math 1 in June 2010 and did well on all of them with chemistry the lowest and math the highest. As I recall, he said it was no worse that sitting for the full SAT or ACT.

NewHavenCTmom - I had to Google to see what QuestBridge was. It sounds like an amazing opportunity for your daughter! Congrats to her (and you)!

I have a question re ACT. Son is taking the June SAT and said if he doesnt do as well as he would like, he would like to give the ACT a shot in the fall. (Could have knocked me down with a feather!) Anyway, it looks like the first test date is Sept. 21. Will the scores be available in time to submit to his ED choice (Nov. 1)?

Wow!! Thanks for all of the kind words. I feel so blessed that I found this wonderful corner of the world when I did. All the advice that you all have imparted, all the broad shoulders that you let me cry on…I’m not sure where she/we would be right now!! A million thanks!!!

Thanks for the champagne! I think I’m going to need a few cases to have around until next May.

Ps We are headed to Smith College(open house)on Saturday & Barnard(for their annual junior college planning day event)on Sunday…will fill you guys in on all of the good, the bad & the ugly upon our return…
