<p>In case you have not heard, a tragic fire claimed the lives of seven college students over the weekend, six were able to escape. Six were from the University of South Carolina and one from Clemson. My prayers surround the families of all the students involved and the Univeristy communities. Being from SC, my children and I know many students at both Universities but at this point, we don't know the hometowns of all of the students. I called my girls at school last night because I didn't want them to hear it on the news and to let them know how much I love them and how proud I am of them. I can't imagine what these parents and the surviving students must be going through!</p>
<p>Nan, I think your thread title says it all. Life as they knew it has sadly changes for those families. I can't imagine. Prayers and good thought to them.</p>
