Parking on Game Days?

When I toured the campus, they told me that you had to move your car on game days. If you take your car, and park in one of the parking garages, where do you move your car to on game days?

This is going to seem like a childish answer to your question, but the answer is:

you move it somewhere else. There’s no designated spot for you.

Thanks for the help!

Some of the parking garages do not require you to move your car on game day, for example, 27th St. Garage. Others do. To add on to what propayne said, when you move you have to find a spot designated “any UT permit” of which there are less and less every year on campus. So I guess it’s best to try to get into a garage that doesn’t require you to move, because finding parking on campus is an absolute cluster**** on game days.

There’s probably more to this than I know about this situation, but if someone was actually ATTENDING a football game, that person would be allowed to park or let their car stay in the garage if they had a parking permit, right?

No. The point, unfortunately for students, is to make more room for visitors/alumni.
