Has the parking situation improved any in the last few years, or gotten worse? I visited last week and found a few spots free. But given the pool of avail spots for students, is it practical to get a parking pass? How much success might a student see with the parking roulette?

Parking is easy for first-year students on East Campus as long as you have a parking pass. It's supposed to be somewhat harder (but still manageable) for students living on West Campus. I'm not sure about Central, but it's probably more like East.

ive never heard parking to be much of a problem from anyone I know with cars. In general, the lots are filled up more during weekdays but its probably more efficacious to take the buses anyways since they run every few minutes and its faster to get to class that way. On the weekends, I usually see a lot of spaces cuz some ppl go away or come and go at different times.
