Parkside Arts and Humanities Suite?

Hi Guys,
I chose Parkside A&H as my first choice dorm room. How socially dead is it? I chose it due to the bigger dorms and AC but I don’t want a boring freshman experience. Do Parkisde AH students still go to greek parties or throw their own parties and stuff? I know its up to me to do all these things but I don’t want to be in a dead environment.
Also, what can you tell me about IRC and Pardee

Bump!

My son lived at Parkside A&H his freshman year. IMHO (and his) the AC and private bathrooms trump partying. Having said that my perception was that it is a quiet dorm and had more Viterbi students since the CS building is right across from it.

The dorm folks (RAs, etc) had a lot of social activities planned which was nice. But I’m not sure if it was more or less than any other dorm.

The best cafeteria on campus is right next door.

Anyone can go to Greek parties but those are on the north end of campus so a bit of a hike.

If you are super into partying this probably is not the best fit for you.

Ton of info on here on Parkside
