If anyone has attended this fair before could you give me some insight?
Also, is it beneficial for freshmen to attend if they really are looking for work? Or is it more of a information session?

If this is what I'm thinking it is, it's basically a bunch of companies that set up booths and hand out info/try to recruit people. I know several people that have gotten jobs/internships/interviews through this thing but it's hard for freshmen.
If you go, bring several copies of your resume.

Just go on CareerNet and look for jobs. Submit your resume that way. It's so much easier. I looked at the people at will be at this career fair and most of them posted already on CareerNet.

How do we get to the list of employers at the fair? Because the site says you need a CareerNet ID...

Hold on, I will find it.

edit:

oh, yeah, you do need a CareerNet ID, sorry. there are 94 employers going to be there ranging from NYU ITS to Loreal. I don't think any freshman will get any of the jobs except the NYU jobs, though, so just wait until you get your CareerNet ID from the Wasserman Center and then go look yourself at the CareerNet listings.

Okay, thanks. :)

So has anyone gotten a job from this fair??

when and where is this held?
