Partial or Final Transcripts? FSU

Hey everyone,
A quick question:
I am a transfer student for Summer '12 semester, and on my checklist, it says:

High School Final transcript received.
INDIAN RIVER STATE COLLEGE Transcript received.
UNIVERSITY OF NORTH FLORIDA Final transcript received.

Meaning that FSU has my partial transcript from Indian River State College, and not my final transcript. Should I resend the transcript with my final grades for this semester? even if the new grades lowered my GPA? Will they accept me with only a partial transcript?

Thanks,
-AS

My status update says they have my HS transcript, my final Edison state and partial FGCU. But it also says next to FGCU that a final transcript is not needed for initial admission consideration. So if it doesn’t say that, you should probably send your final

Okay. I copied this verbatim from the application status:

High School Final transcript received.
INDIAN RIVER STATE COLLEGE Transcript received.
UNIVERSITY OF NORTH FLORIDA Final transcript received.

Your says something like this?

High School Final transcript received.
INDIAN RIVER STATE COLLEGE Transcript received. (Final Transcript not needed?)
UNIVERSITY OF NORTH FLORIDA Final transcript received.

By the way, is your major limited access??

Here is what mine says. They have a transcript from me that lists the class I took for Fall2011 at FGCU but not the final (with grades.)

I don’t think my major is limited access, but I am not sure-Biology

High School Final transcript received.
EDISON STATE COLLEGE Final transcript received.
OAKLAND COMMUNITY COLLEGE Final transcript received.
FLORIDA GULF COAST UNIVERSITY Transcript is not required for initial admission consideration.

Just curious…
How long did it take for them to receive transcripts.
Also…I don’t think Biology is limited access.

To be honest, I can’t remember…I think it takes about 1 to 2 weeks. It all depends on if your school sends them electronically or by mail and how far you live. Electronically is the best way to go, if your school allows that option…But always remember to call the school you are applying to and tell them that you sent it electronically so they can go into the system and pull it up.

I’m a summer '12 transfer too. They received my high school transcript, but it says transcript not needed for initial admission consideration for my USF grades. I emailed admissions for confirmation and they told me to send in my USF transcript. I’m only a freshman so it only has fall grades. I say send them again and for those of you who didn’t send a transcript because you thought it wasn’t required, send them anyway.

I also applied to FSU summer 2012 as a lower-division transfer. Has anyone heard a decision back yet? Im wondering when they will start saying admission decisions. I feel like I will have no time to choose housing, living arrangements, etc. if they take so long to let students know their decision! LOL

I looked at older fsu threads and most found out in March. So I’m assuming we’ll find out if we get accepted or not for summer '12 term by mid-March.
