<p>Prospective student here, I was wondering how is the party scene at rice, from someone who generally attends and drinks. Parties at my high school were common and I don't want to go to a school where the weekend comes around and as a freshman I'm stuck with nothing/boring things to do.</p>

<p>Honestly speaking, you’re smack dab in the middle of the 4th-largest city in the country. There is plenty to do, even if it’s not on-campus. You would have to be trying pretty hard to be bored.</p>
