party life??

how is it at cornell? the ivies aren't known to be so great at the party scene, but i've heard cornell's one of the better. How much truth is there to that?

Cornell is the party Ivy :).

Penn and Cornell are good party schools. i'd be weary of the other 6

From what i know, for some people, partying at Cornell starts on Thursdays and lots of kids know how to balance their time between work and fun very well. I don't know about the other ivies, i know someone who goes to Princeton and says their party life is very boring, but i don't know, i guess you just have to find out for yourself =]

the partying scene at cornell is very good. like someone said before, the "hardcore" partiers go out thursday-saturday. first semester, there are always multiple open parties each night, but second semester there are fewer since there are more private parties between one frat and one sorority.

Orientation week is amazing. Tons of people will be holding parties in Collegetown, and many will welcome freshman. Some of the parties can be lame, but it's easy to make any party fun, especially when you're an obnoxious freshman. ;) As an upperclassman, it's pretty entertaining just to sit back at CTB and watch the hordes of freshmen come down to Collegetown. I remember that as freshmen, my friends and I always wondered how people were able to identify us as being new to campus...well, it's pretty obvious when you're walking to Collegetown with a group of 30 people. :)

Personally, I like going out on Thursday and Friday best. For some reason, Saturday nights are usually less fun for me...no idea why. But anyway, frat parties are all pretty much the same: sweaty people grinding on a crowded dance floor, beer pong, and drunk guys hitting on you. Brothers might invite you upstairs, where you can drink harder stuff. Frat parties can be fun, but it's easy to get tired of them. I like smaller parties better just because they're more intimate. It's really up to what suits you. If you want to party, you won't have too much of a problem at Cornell, especially if you're involved with Greek Life.

The party life is great. The greek system is great for it, esp if u wanna party during spring semester. All around great. I think Cornell has like the 2nd largest greek system in the country. There are def parties if u want to go to them (esp fall semester).

if you really want to know what party scenes in each college is like, go to this website theU.com Online - College Campus Video Tours, Online Student Reviews and Info about Campus Life

yuppp. About 2 years ago, I watched almost every single school. Hahh

The stats are way off now, but it's fun to hear students talk about their schools

lol apparantly cornell kids have the most s**
