<p>1) How is the party scene at WPI ?</p>
<p>2) i heard that the girls to boys ratio sucks ....is it true ? If yes, is it improved for the class of 2015 ?</p>
<p>3) Are there things to do outside the campus ? How is Worcester city from a college student prospective ?</p>

<li><p>On almost every weekend you can find a party if you are looking for one. Some rowdier than others. Not much else to say there…</p></li>
<li><p>Again it is what you make of it. Does it exist. Yes. Is it as bad as people make it. No. It is definitely improving, and I can only imagine it will continue getting better the next several years.</p></li>
<li><p>Worcester has some great restaurants and bars. There is occasionally some pretty good bands/musicians that play downtown. It is nothing comparable to Boston, where there is always something to do every night.</p></li>

<p>2) how do u compare the engineering academics at wpi to other top engineerin schools like uiuc, gatech ?</p>

<li><p>If you get 3.9+ and have done VALUABLE research with a professor or had some good internships you have a VERY good shot of getting into a top 10 grad school. I can’t say I have heard of many people going to grad schools out west though. I don’t know if that is due to relocation issues or something else. I would say the same thing applies to med school assuming your MCAT score is high.</p></li>
<li><p>There are some other threads that address this pretty really well. I really can’t comment about it as I’ve never taken any courses at any of those other schools.</p></li>
