^Ehh, I find the people I know that use drugs to be much friendlier, happier, and less judgmental than the people I know who don’t. I really prefer to associate with them…people who don’t use anything and are nonjudgmental are fine, but I don’t meet too many of them.

^ I find most drug users to be superficial, rude, and judgmental bums trying to live the MTV lifestyle. If you aren’t a superficial, rude, judgmental bum trying to live the MTV lifestyle and you use drugs, I’m probably cool with you. I just don’t meet too many people like that.

No not the “cc pot and alcohol” thread again.

Yeah, we don’t want anything illegal on CC: possibly the most geeky, nerdy, funny and weird forum place ever. Doesn’t anyone just dance at parties? No drugs, pls.

Unfortunately people just can’t resist bashing those who like having a good time once in awhile

Wiscongene, you’re a ******.

But anyway, there are only a couple really big parties a year at my school, several with about 25-30, but most are under 10

I don’t use drugs. I don’t care if people I don’t know use drugs, as long as they don’t harm anyone. I don’t care if my friends do drugs, as long as they don’t harm themselves or others, and remain true to themselves.

I have numerous friends who smoke the occasional joint, and a few who do harder drugs (as the general public perceives it; I realize a healthy person does little to no damage to themselves with acid or shrooms). None of them have caused themselves or others harm, and they remain the same people. I don’t see any harm.

It’s fine if you have a good time, it’s just that doing illegal things detract from your enjoyment of the event. There’s other perfectly legal and safe things out there that will make you just as happy.

^you must not have tripped before

Nobody should have to defend what they choose to do or not to do. That is what inevitably happened with the other thread.

The OP was just wondering if people partied. Not a big deal.

Yeah I’d like to hear from some other people

Inb4 9001 posts about drugs vs. no drugs

smoke weed.

all day, erryday.

@dfree124

Nah, it already started.

I don’t “party”, but I do attend parties. I think there’s a difference, somewhere.

Wiscongene, I don’t know why you’re so judgmental. We aren’t hurting you with our lifestyle, and we’re all able to maintain success both in our academic and social lives. What’s your problem?

Nah, too much h.w to party…

There is. I wonder when the connotation of the term “party” changed to its present form.

Wow, lmao. You’ve all surely proven me wrong on my assumption that “drug users are usually rude, judgmental and superficial.”

I dislike the hedonism because, in a microcosm, I see it as something that’s destroying America and the Western World in general. The MTV lifestyle teaches you that the world is “all-fun, all-the-time” which plainly ain’t so. Why don’t you see more active drug usage in East Asian countries with expanding economies? Find me those statistics. The massive popularization of recreational drug usage is a step backwards for our society.

Maybe some day people will grow up and realize the mistake they’ve made, but by then I fear it’ll be too late.

There is certainly a difference from judgmental and defending oneself for a barrage of opinionated insults. Those of us who have disclosed our drug use are all responsible, intelligent young adults who in no way represent this MTV lifestyle you seem to believe is taking over America.
