So one thing no tour guide seems to ever mention is the social life on campus. Are there a lot of parties? If so are they actually any good? Im looking at Marist for it’s internship programs but it’s still college and I wanna have some fun. Hopefully some current student can shed some light thanks.
My daughter attends Marist. There are no parties on campus at all. Very strict about drinking in dorms. You go to the bars in poughkeepsie. Taxis pick you up at Marist for $3.00/person. You can get in at 18 years old but everyone has a fake. Definitely lots of partying goes on off campus too. Frat houses, etc. Definitely a big party school.
Hi there! Marist is a great school for social activities because it is what you make out of it! If you like to stay in and have fun, you can do that. If you like to go out and have fun with friends there is also a good amount of that too!
