<p>Is it required for all students before they actually register for their classes?</p>

<p>Pass is not required. All it is is a program on the portal that shows you what classes are being offered and how many seats are still available in them. It also allows you to create possible schedules. I think PASS is very helpful, but you are definitely not required to use it.</p>
<p>PASS = A cool web application that shows you a schedule of upcoming classes. In fact, it’s the only published schedule these days.</p>
