<p>Why is the SAT questioning my intelligence.... I've never felt so hopeless in my life.</p>
<p>Do you not understand the words just when you first read the passage, or do you continue not to understand them after you have looked them up in the dictionary?</p>
<p>How much do you read, outside of what's assigned for your classes? What kinds of things? What (if anything) do you enjoy reading?</p>
<p>I've known people who've felt very hopeless about the SATs. It makes me angry that people are put in situations where ridiculous ideas about success and failure are treated as normal. I don't know you, obviously, and I have no idea whether or not you are someone I would think was intelligent, but I know this: if you told me your SAT scores right now, it wouldn't make me any more capable of figuring out whether or not you are intelligent.</p>

<p>I'll give you the same advise you gave me...Why not use your timing studying vocabs instead of coming on this forum and complain. An average person could memorize a lot of words in an hour. Go utilize your time wisely, to the best of your benefit than indulging yourself to this website. Remember, your score will not improve if you're on this site.</p>

Go study. Just telling us you dont "comprehend" won't help us help you. Answer nontraditional questions and then come back if you still have trouble.</p>

<p>What would normal person do when they don't understand a word in a passage? They would look it up. Not complain to others. There is an obvious fix, but apparently all you want is for us to say something along the lines of "Don't worry, the test is hard for everyone" or "I am like that too."</p>
<p>And to answer your question, I do not think that the SAT is questioning your intelligence at all, because for it to do that, you must possess at least some intelligence. Maybe its questioning your lack there of?</p>
