errrrrrrrrr okay.
So I took my first AP test, and I sort of screwed up.
I was completely not ready for it, I was stressed, and super exhausted from outside school related reasons.

So... I came out with a 2.
Yuck, I know.
And I'm someone that is hoping to go to Ivy Leagues.. and I'm the top student of my class and everything.

do I pay to not submit the scores in to colleges?
And if so, when do I pay and stuff?

When you go to collegeboard and send scores to colleges you can pay $10. for each AP score you want to suppress to each school. Their website explains it all. My Son did this as his AP stats teacher was teaching the class for the first time and did not prepare the kids at all. He had 3s and 4s on all other APS and an A/B+ in the class but a 1 on the AP test.

So you are saying to not send it in.
No question asked.. just don't send it in?

Because I'm confused..
Colleges like that you take advantage of how many AP classes your school offers, so ..
Do I submit the score to increase my number of AP tests taken?
Or.. is it better to just forget that one AP class and focus on trying to get high scores on future AP tests.... and what's done is done.

Submitting the score will not increase the number of APs taken...the scores are if you want to apply for credit at the college you are going to... in the case on my son's I called the school he is going to and asked if a low AP score could hurt him, they told me "No" the only reason we look at the AP score is after admission to determine if college credit is going to be awarded. They want you to take the AP classes if they are offered at your school, whether you take the test or not. Lots of kids in the senior class with my son took AP classes and didn't take the test. They didn't feel prepared, they felt they were already taking a bunch of AP tests, etc....did not matter as far as colleges as they were already admitted and the colleges did not care. Submitting the score is not the only way to show the number of APs taken, you will list them on your apps. If you are really concerned, pick a school you want to go to, call admissions and ask them. Or go on a tour of the school you want to go to, and ask them. You can also go to this forum and search all threads, put in AP scores, and you will find numerous posts....please, do not stress over this one score...
