Paying for College

Just curious.....how are you guys paying for college? Scholarships, loans, parents, your own pocket? Just looking at the tuition cost for college scares me.

parents are paying for my undergraduate bill with a check. the money comes from years of them saving.

It's coming from scholarships, grants, loans, and my pocket.

Loans and grant aid...

loans but my parents have agreed to pay for undergrad

Pocket and FAFSA.

My dad was only 17 credits short of graduating too :(

My dad pays, plus I work 15-25 hours a week and have a partial scholarship.

Florida Pre-paid and out of pocket

bstewart............FAFSA doesn't pay money for anybody. You must be thinking of some other monies you are getting......hehehe

own pocket...work 2 jobs and have class every day

Lots of grants, parental support, and some work study too.

i also sometimes "donate" for some extra money

working 20 hours a week, grants, scholarships, loans

i wish my parents had that much money saved.....

yeah, but would anyone mind sharing some numbers? like which school you go to, how affluent your parents are, how much of your aid is grant $$$ and how much is loans, what does the bill come down to at the end??? I don't mean to get intrusively inquisitive, but when people say "I pay through loans, grants, scholarships and work study" it just isn't much specific information....

Point taken.

Pell Grant or Minnesota Grant, I can't remember which ;)

no financial aid or scholarships or anything.

loans, loans, and more loans....out of state. I do get a small grant and housing and meal plan is paid for.
