I sort of had a post similar to this but I didn't really get a great answer. So for this coming year I have tuition squared away with scholarships and a grant, however no help was given to pay for room and board. What are you guys doing to cover this cost? Is there anything I can do with financial aid to get this covered too, and if so what is that called (i.e. grant name etc.)? Just looking for a little help in financing, Thanks so much</p>
<p>Outside scholarships are paying for my room and board almost exclusively; my dad also has a Tuition Reimbursement benefit from his work that pays $4k/year towards tuition, room/board, fees, and books. Ask your parents to look into that, because I know a fair number of places that do that for their employees’ children. Anything that isn’t covered by scholarship or the reimbursement is taken out of a college savings plan my dad set up.</p>
