Paying for school

I am looking at going to nursing school to get my rn that is in another city to be able to actually get into a nursing program, without a waiting list. I filled out my fafsa application, and as part of going to school full time is no longer having a full time job. I want to take out enough money to be able to pay for school, and to be able to meet my obligations to my house payment, car payment etc. I calculated that I would roughly need to take out 50k to be able to completely afford everything. Is this something reasonable I can expect to do or do I need to rethink my options in regards to be able to go to school.

Grad or undergrad? If it’s undergrad, you will only be able to take out Stafford loans up to your annual max (5500 fr/6500 soph/7500 jr-sr if dependent & 9500/10500/12500 independent). You might be awarded a health loan or Perkins loan if the school has them & you qualify under their formula for distribution. Otherwise, your only option is a private education loan. You can borrow up to the cost of attendance (which includes living allowances) through a combination of Stafford & other loans. No PLUS loan options for an independent undergrad.

If you are a grad student, you can borrow up to $20,500 in Stafford & you can borrow a Grad PLUS loan in the amount of COA-20500 (the Grad PLUS requires a credit check).

I would be going for my associates degree, so I believe that is classified as undergraduate. So what I am hoping to do does not sound realisitic than?
