<p>Sorry. Figured it out myself. Anyone know about ROTC and when they will get the scholarship funds to account?</p>
<p>Sorry I don’t have any experience with the ROTC scholarship, but I know that every semester my S’s merit scholarship from Fordham gets posted late on my.fordham. After initially worrying (I like to pay my bills on time), I just got used to the fact that the timing is always a bit off. I think the bottom line is that if you know the money is coming, there is no need to worry. If you have any questions, I’d call the school (maybe the financial aid office) to find out exactly how/when the ROTC scholarship works. It seems like a very reasonable question to ask! <p>The outcome:
ROTC scholarship posted to Fordham account on 08/3. The late fee of $295.00 was removed the same day. The ROTC covered all tuition and fees except the housing connection fee. According to the info we got Fordham U will cover the cost of housing up to the avg cost of a double room. Anything greater is paid by student. This has not posted yet and we will see how that goes. Still shows dorm fee owed. Fordham has been great about answering questions on phone so far and I am so thankful for this. My DD is working out everyday except during our vacation for since school let out and with her team since 8th grade. No matter what our problems, America is still better than anything else out there, in my opinion.</p>
<p>I figured it would sort itself out in time, but I know that I felt more at ease when my S’s scholarship showed up! Hope your D has a wonderful experience at Fordham. You should be (and I’m sure you are) very proud.</p>
