<p>i attended one of the open houses, and they said that my app. fee will be waived. so on the payment tab in the common app, do i just leave it alone?</p>

<p>there is an option for counselor-approved waiver fee on the common app, but i clicked no, since it’s not. was i supposed to click yes?</p>

<p>If you've sent your application in, I would either e-mail or speak to the admissions officer who informed you that the fee would be waived, and let him/her know you would like to have Amherst do so.</p>
