I tried to register for the health insurance waiver…but it asked for my insurance and all the medical stuff. What if I don’t have a health insurance…can I still register for the fee waiver?

It’s not a fee waiver. It’s an insurance waiver.

If you have insurance, you should be waived.

If you don’t have insurance, you will be charged for UCR insurance because every single student must be insured.

how about if your on the state’s insurance program. That the count

Students wishing to opt out of the mandatory health insurance must have private insurance that meets the following requirements:

Must include outpatient benefits

Deductible and coinsurance/co-payment maximum
is no more that $3,000 for combined deductible
and co-payment/co-insurance maximum for in-
network, no-capped benefits.

Maximum lifetime benefit must be at least
$100,000; (Graduate Students; benefit must be
$250,000)

Waiting period for covering pre-existing conditions
must be no more than two years, if pre-existing
conditions are not currently covered.

Double check with your insurance company, or just fill out the waiver. If they don’t approve it… then they don’t approve it. Can’t argue with it. ;p

Insurance you have must be in Riverside county. It can’t be from like san joaquin county or something like that.

Forreal? My main doc is in LA. @_@ It’s okay. They don’t have to know that.

That’s what my insurance company told me. I think other companies might be similar.

it didnt matter with me. my doctor was in orange county and i lived in rside. i still got the waiver

My $211 has been changed to credit. ^__^

lucky how about u share the wealth

lol just notifying people of possible changes in their bill. ^__^

You don’t have insurance? D:

I have it through the states program aka medi cal so idk if they will take it

Can we get a refund on the RHA fee if our EFC is 0?

no that stays

100% sure?

pretty sure

I have a question about health insurance. I got waived for the health insurance, but got charged $211 for it. Who do I call/email about this?
