I'm a PC.

You?

I'm a PC.

You?

Mac all the way.

As do I occasionally…on my mac. Ha.

Macs all the way. Not that I’m very techy…(which is probably why I like macs)

why mac ?

Both. Mac for photo editing and PC for just about everything else.

PC! who cares about photo editing?

Mac! This belief was kinda instilled on me, since all the computers in my house are Macs haha.

Macs are always ahead of the game technologically speaking, and it seems that every new Windows version tries to copy Apple. But the real corporate world does use Windows… :/

Linux

or BSD

I have one computer running crunchbang linux, a variation of ubuntu linux but using an openbox desktop environment. My other computer is running NetBSD.

BSD is a unix like operating system developed from Berkeley, California. In my opinion it is just as good as linux, if not better.

I do not use windows computers because they do not allow you to view the software. Personally, I feel that if you cannot tinker with something or modify it for fun than its not yours. If I pay for the software, I want to have the right to modify it. It is mine, is it not?

But if it came down to it… I would choose Mac because their operating system is based on unix as well.

I’m in love with Macs. I’m getting them apples for Valentine’s Day. jkjk

md5hash: Most people just want to use a basic operating system. Modifying are mostly for people who actually use specifics and deal with motherboards, memory and KVM/monitors.

We actually only pay for the right to use the software.

Which kinda sucks when you look at things from that perspective.

Well, I’m still a PC!

I’m a PC and will be for life!

I also have a PC.

No, modifying is for people who want to learn why things work. Its not my fault if people don’t feel the need to understand things.

I prefer a Mac :D

Pshh, who pays for an operating system?

I’m running Windows 7 at the moment (it came with my laptop), but I have Linux live CDs around my house. I used to spend a lot of time on Backtrack, but now I’m mostly on either Fedora or Arch.

Mac, plox.

Well, also for people who want to learn how things work, and the curious, the clueless, the crafty.

It’s not that they don’t feel the need to understand things, it’s just that it’s not absolutely necessary.

I have a PC but I want a Mac for college. My dad’s in the computer business and is fervently opposed to Macs, so PCs are the only things I’ve ever really known.

I’ve played with all my friends’ Macs though, and I want one so badly.
