I got accepted by PEDDIE but waitlisted by TAFT and HOTCHKISS.</p>
<p>Could anyone give me advice about my choice?
Could anyone compare the advantages and disadvantages of those 3 schools?</p>

<p>My advice:</p>
<p>Peddie is a great school. The SSAT-helping classes in Korea called hagwons know Peddie's name, which is a surprise for me because nobody knows much beyond Choate.
It's also a school I've been meaning to look into. So CONGRATS (:</p>
<p>I can't really help you on your decision, but for now, I think you got in a great school and unless hotchkiss or taft wants you and you really really love that school, you should stick with it (though as you can tell there's either a lot of hotchkiss waitlisters or they're all on CC)</p>

<p>For you, Peddie has a clear advantage which is that you are in there. I don't see that you have any choice to make at this point.</p>
<p>I agree with Inquiring mind. If you've already gotten into Peddie, I don't really see the need to try for the other schools who couldn't manage to notice how much of an asset you would be. </p>

<p>And, what about NMH? I got accepted by NMH too. I thought peddie is better but my former classmates told me to choose NMH. What is your opinion?</p>
<p>Peddie definitely ;) As far as I know, NMH has a backup reputation for being just a safety, and some people who went say they would have rather not.
And Peddie is actually recognized as a good non-safety institution, at least from what I know :o</p>
<p>But of course if you love NMH it's not an entirely bad school, and the whole reason why most people choose NMH as a safety is because it's still a good school and you can still get somewhere from there.</p>
<p>Congrats again on Peddie :D It's so nice to see that people actually got accepted to places other than middlesex or blair (CC definitely helps see other people's acceptances lol)</p>

<p>I think only you can answer that question. I suggest you revisit both schools with an open mind and see what you like best about each school. Your instinct won't mislead you. A week ago or so, someone posted a form which allows you to write down your thoughts about each school. It makes for a great review sheet.</p>
