A quick comment from a recent Peddie grad who misses the school dearly… I didn’t read every post specifically so I’m sorry if someone mentioned this already.

Peddie is almost half commuter. Of course you’re going to see a large NJ caucasian population, of the 500ish kids only 250 CAN even come from outside the west-windsor princeton area. Of those, many are still from the northeast/ other areas of NJ. The school makes a distinct effort for international representation, but also consider that kids are coming at the age of 13. As parents, how many of you would send your 13 year old child to a foreign nation for high school? Peddie makes every effort to be diverse, and considering I had friends from new york, virginia, kentucky, florida, the bahamas, china, california, japan, england, russia, and yes, new jersey, I think they were extremely successful.

PS- one year my dorm had a DDR video game and the only effects it had on us were in Saturday night DDR tournaments. If you have a problem with your child socializing, having fun, relaxing, and building community while still maintaining academic focus 6 out of 7 nights in the week then Peddie is not the school for you.
PM me if you have absolutely any questions about Peddie life, like I said, recent grad with lots of experience and lots of love for the place! =]
