how heavily is Peer Evaluation weighed in the admissions process at Williams?
I wrote an excellent Peer Evaluation for my frd and I think her mom wrote another Parent Evaluation for her as well. Both superb recommendations.

btw, one of my frds from Hong Kong got waitlisted at W last year, but since he knows that W doesn't accept international transfer applicants, he decided to take a year off to reapply. What do you think are his odds of getting accepted at W this year? he did let the AdCom know that he got waitlisted last year btw....

Will the AdCom appreciate his extreme enthusiasm??? anyone? thanks!

Since peer evaluations aren't required or even really expected, the lack of a peer evaluation isn't very harmful (chalk me up as another guy who didn't submit one and got an early write last year), but I think a good evaluation could be very helpful.

jeke: thanks for the encouraging comment!
I hope my Peer Evaluation helped my frd cos' she's an international from China asking for a lot of aid...

btw, do you have any idea about how the AdCom at Williams would look at my frd who got waitlisted last year?

can someone please respond? cos' so far the financial aid packages that my frd got from Wellesley, Smith and Mt. Holyoke are not sufficient for her to attend (she needs full aid), and i know that Williams is extremely generous to internationals as well, so i'm pretty confident that she'll be able to get the amount she needs if she can get in....:(
