<p>i had a few friends who applied ED last year and they wrote their own peer recs and had a friend sign it. Does this happen a lot where people just write their own? seems like it defeats the purpose but idk</p>

<p>Its all relative if you think your friend can do justice to it go ahead, ask him to write it.</p>
