So I just realized that a peer review was listed on the Dartmouth website and I never included one. I also haven’t been contacted for an interview. Any advice?
Ask a friend to write a peer review ASAP (this is one of those things that is not subject to a strict deadline). Don’t freet about the non-interview. Research old threads here to verify what I’m telling you/
@AboutTheSame is it alright if it reaches in March though? can it be e-mailed?
Yes, it’s ok if it reaches them in March.
"Yes, it’s ok if it reaches them in March. " Not likely.
The reality is it won’t likely make any difference. Certainly your file has been already read and is either progressing through or set aside already. If it’s progressing, having the peer note in your file may be of assistance. But don’t count on it. It would be utter insanity to count on an interview at this point.
Interviews have completed as of 3/6, so that’s out. But the sooner you send in the peer review, the better the odds are that it’ll be counted in your application. Better late than never, and always better to try than just give up
I have read on here that someone was admitted without doing the peer review. It was listed as optional. There is no down side to sending it in though.
What is the acceptance rate for those who have not submitted a peer rec?
didn’t submit a peer rec and got an interview
also if you look at your application management system, the peer rec is listed as optional, unlike the fact on its website: “it is required”
@upasna15 Actually, it’s strongly recommended, not required.
Um, well my son’s friend just sent a letter late last week. Probably too little, too late! I didn’t think my son could get in anyways.
