Peer schools you really respect...

haha yeah I realized that, I just posted that from a list I found, obviously the list was terrible

My School: Rutgers University- New Brunswick

Respected Peers: NYU, Maryland, Penn State, and Toronto.

Pierre, please do not insult Duke by considering Duke as a “peer school” of Klimpsen

haha yeah not academically but in sports definitely (remember that game at Littlejohn this past season?? (; )

“but in sports definitely”

You can’t be serious. In basketball, Duke is 100-29 vs. Klimpsen, and prior to “that game at Littlejohn this past season”, Duke won 8 straight at Littlejohn. “Remember that??”

ACC Tournament Championships: Klimpsen (0) vs. Duke (16)
NCAA Sweet 16: Klimpsen (3) vs. Duke (24)
NCAA Final Four: Klimpsen (0) vs. Duke (14)
NCAA National Championships: Klimpsen (0) vs. Duke (3)

In other sports, Duke’s men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse, women’s tennis, women’s golf, women’s basketball, and field hockey teams are all ranked in the top 10; does Klimpsen have any teams ranked in the top 10?

Duke has led the ACC in most student-athletes on the Honor Roll for 20 straight years, a streak that was broken last year after losing to BC by 1 student athlete; has Klimpsen ever led the ACC in placing the most “student”-athletes on the Honor Roll?!

Sorry, Dook athletics are garbage when compared to their neighbor 8 miles down the road, UNC.

And didn’t Clemson beat Dook’s basketball team by like 40 this year?

Yes, pierre0913, you are peers with Duke athletically. You both know how to underachieve!

My School:
Rice

Respected Peers:
Chicago
Duke
Vanderbilt
Notre Dame
Northwestern
Michigan
Berkeley

My school: WUSTL
Respect: I don’t think there’s enough of a consensus for me to do this based just on “peer schools,” since evidently WUSTL isn’t a peer to Rice or even Clemson (or maybe just not respected?). But throughout the admissions process, I was very impressed by Notre Dame, BC, and Penn.

My School: Dartmouth
I Respect: Brown, Cornell, Columbia, Williams, JHU.

Me:
Wake Forest

Peers:
Vanderbilt
Davidson
William & Mary
Furman
Bucknell

haha DukeAlumnus2003, I just took that opportunity to rub that beating in your face, I wasn’t actually serious

As a Clemson fan, it’s pretty embarassing, our football team was ranked top 5 preseason, we weren’t even among the top teams in the ACC at the end of the season, talk about choking (also the men’s b-ball team losing to Georgia Tech in the ACC tournament and losing to Michigan first round)

but hey Duke b-ball chokes all the time too so I don’t feel too bad haha

My school: Berkeley

Peers I Respect:
Stanford, Princeton, MIT, Michigan, Cornell, UT-Austin, Wisconsin, UIUC, Rice, USC

Imposter Peer:
UCLA

My college: NYU
Respect a lot: Bard, USC (really good school regardless of sports/greek life), Columbia (it’s an Ivy in NYC and, I love that)

UCBChemEGrad. You always crack me up.

I attend UT-Austin.

I greatly admire the other top publics, such as

UC-Berkeley
UCLA
Michigan
Wisconsin
Illinois
North Carolina
Virginia

Duke Class of 2013

Respect:
Wake Forest
U of Chicago
Georgetown
Ithaca College
UVA
Hopkins

My school: Johns Hopkins

Respect: MIT (waitlisted :frowning: ), Duke (got off the waitlist, hmm
bad decision? lol), UChicago (doesn’t need layman prestige to show it is a great institution, very humble reputation), Georgetown, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Stanford.

I love how we are showing love  I love you guys. If I could fly out and meet you all in person, I would, seriously :d

Amherst.

Kudos to Williams, Yale, and Princeton. Notre Dame, Georgetown, and UChicago, too.

A lot of UChicago mentions, I definitely agree
