<p>I just googled the name of one of the colleges ds has been accepted to and saw that different schol. deadlines are posted than I had seen previously in a different place on the website. The deadlines posted on the main schol. section of the website state a date of Jan. 15, but the downloadable viewbook type of info. has Jan 15 for the deadline, and Dec. 1 for the priority deadline. No priority deadline is listed in the main schol section. Both sections are current - state info is for 2010-2011 year. I feel tricked. Thankfully, this school is not his top #1 choice, but it was in the running if the scholarships came through. This is a flagship in another state from ours. Any ideas as to whether it is worth proceeding with the schol. apps, which involve essays, etc.?</p>
<p>I would contact the school next week and point out the different dates, and ask whether it’s too late to submit his documents.</p>
<p>A lot of stuff that you google is cached, and is outdated. I would trust the official website.</p>
<p>But if you are concerned, definitely call.</p>
