I have heard that UCF started doing scholarship things on Nov 15, and would do them in 2 week integrals, but then I also saw something about it taking 2-3 weeks after being offered admission and I don’t know which one is true or how they are doing it…
Do you guys have particularly low ECs or CS hours or anything that might explain why we haven’t gotten anything?(Assuming they reviewed and decided against offering us scholarships)

Still nothing here. Low hours (101). I’m top 3%, 5.1, 2290(1520M+R). I’m not stressing it particularly because I doubt that I’ll go to UCF anyways but I’d like to have a solid backup.

Hmm… I have 27 hours (that’s what was on my transcripts) but I’ll have over 150, maybe 200 by the end of the year (student aid and some volunteering things). I was just wondering about you guys because most of my CS stuff is just my CAS stuff for IB and didn’t know if they could’ve overlooked it.
I guess we really just weren’t part of the first batch
Hopefully this can help someone else who is also in this situation
Thanks

Quick update! I just got offered UCF Provost! :D

Congrats. Where did it show up? To Do list?

It showed up on the right column after I hit student self service. When I hit “to-do list” it didn’t show there, but going back to the student self service there was an option for “scholarship status”.

Got a $6000/ semester or $48,000 total scholarship today for being a National Hispanic Scholar. Nothing on myucf though. I got an email with the info.

Does anybody know what are the qualifications for the Bronze Award? Or maybe Silver? Thanks!

I was offered bronze and have a 1290/1950 SAT and 4.25 gpa :)

I was offered Pegasus silver ($10,000 over 4 years)
My stats:
1670 SAT, 1160 CR+M (I was going to retake it but I was already offered the scholarship so I figured what the heck)
4.2 UCF recalculated GPA
400+ community service hours and 4 leadership positions in the 9 clubs that I joined throughout high school.

I don’t understand why we haven’t been offered one of these. My daughter has a 4.0 GPA, number 1 in her class, 4.0 unweighted GPA, 32 ACT. Any ideas? I thought review for these were automatic.

Does she have a 4.0 weighted AND unweighted?

Do Ucf have like sessions where they send out these because I haven’t got mine yet. 4.3w/28act

No. Unweighted is 4.0. When we did weighted, we came up with 5.38. Thought that was too high, but still came up with it after I refigured it. Maybe it’s because she is taking all dual enrollment with a 4.0 and doubling up on classes. Regardless, you can see it’s very high. Any ideas?

Also, I forgot to mention. She was invited to apply to Honors and received a letter saying she is a Top Ten Knight. It just baffles me, as you can see, and may make us choose another university that has offered scholarships.

Highest possible is a 5.0 by UCF standards. Use their conversions.

Where do I find there conversion chart? It must be different from the one I’m using.

<a href=“Frequently Asked Questions | UCF Undergraduate Admissions”>http://admissions.ucf.edu/faq/ Third question

@kksmom96-I automatically got my scholarship offer about 2 weeks after my offer of admission. With that GPA and ACT score your daughter should qualify for the Gold Pegasus or maybe even Provost. If you do not hear anything about a scholarship with those stats within a month, you need to call UCF and ask to speak with someone with the scholarship review committee. A friend of mine who had excellent stats and got accepted to the Burnett Honors College somehow slipped through the cracks…once they called and asked for a scholarship review they received the Pegasus Gold two days later.

Thank you @Andrew1996. We actually did make contact with UCF and received a reply it had gone to the scholarship committee on Friday. I would hate for her not to go to her first school of choice, but as I told her, with her grades and scores, she has earned scholarships by working so hard. We shall see, but scholarships are a necessity. We did prepaid, but it only pays so much, as you all know.
