Pegasus Bronze/Silver/Gold

I was offered the Pegasus Gold scholarship, but since I cannot find anywhere on UCF's website where they actually break down each level into a definite dollar amount, or say whether it's for four years or for each year, I thought I'd start up this thread for information on these scholarships. Does anyone know even an estimate of these scholarships?

Thanks to mom2then for pulling this info together from last year’s scholarship thread. These numbers could change for 2012-2013.

Chance me ACT 25, UCF GPA 3.7 or so, they will not state over the phone. Normal EC’s and AP/Dual enrollment courses, as well as Coop Dow Chem.

Congrats kmoots…!!!

I got gold, which my letter says is 14k! So excited.
ACT: 31
GPA: 4.65

Are all scholarships released yet? I submitted my application in early October and got accepted in mid October. I believe that I am in the range for UCF Scholarship (GPA: 5.1; SAT: 2290). Will I probably be offered a scholarship later?

FLstudent2014, you may receive your scholarship soon, check MYUCF, under your “To Do” list.

Since UCF uses rolling admissions, not all scholarships are released at the same time.

It does look like Gold is $14K this year :)

We received the Provost Scholarship information this weekend. This year the scholarship is $30,000

Knights is $44000 over four years

I feel like UCF is handing out the big scholarships first. Do you guys think I have a chance of getting a scholarship?
ACT: 26
GPA: 4.3
I graduate high school with an AA degree
And I have a bunch of EC’s

I got my admittance offer about a month ago maybe? It’s been a while…
My friend got his admittance letter in the mail a little over a week ago and, a couple days later, got a letter saying he was offered the Pegasus gold scholarship.
This makes me worry because I still haven’t heard anything about MY scholarships.
Any advice? or something…

If this helps at all,
IB Student
I’ve also taken AP Calc AB and am currently taking AP Calc BC
4.6 W gpa
33 ACT, 2060 SAT (1400 M+CR)

Still on the same boat here SuprfineLime. Very overqualified stats and no scholarship. Acceptance Letter came in September!

Maybe they’re just waiting to tell us that we get Provost huh
We can dream right

I am with you guys as well. IB program, 4.4 converted GPA, ACT score of 29, and taking APs and have passed the majority of mine as well. My friends that have gotten the scholarships all have names up until the last letter of J and I myself am O. What do your last names start with?

Assuming you are talking about last names?
My friend who I said got his gold was a C
I myself am a G and haven’t heard anything

I’m sorry I forgot to mention I was talking about last names. If I do not here anything about the scholarship in the next week or two, I’m going to email the admissions office and ask them to reconsider whether I should get a scholarship or not. I have two friends that have gotten the provost scholarship and about eight that have the Pegasus gold. You and I both have better credentials than five of my friends (Test scores wise and GPA wise).

Wow what the heck
what were the stats on your Provost friends?
I’m trying to figure out how they are going through the names for scholarships… I thought maybe by like… the order in which they applied, last names, it just doesn’t make sense. I don’t see why me, you, or that other guy would not receive gold/provost, or anything for that matter

has anybody heard anything new?
