Pell Grant for credit overload?

Hey everyone, I’ve done research but can’t seem to find answer to this question.

I am junior that has $0 EFC and I receive the full Pell Grant. This year, I will only be at school fall semester as I’m doing an internship in the Spring. This fall, I’m taking 18 credits at my home school and another 6 transfer credits from a local community college. Is it possible to receive some of the Pell Grant I would have received in the spring to cover the costs of the transfer credits?

you have to be a matriculated (degree seeking) student in order to get financial aid. It is highly unlikely that you will receive aid at the local CC, since you are not a degree seeking student there

Ok, makes sense. Thanks!

In addition, students cannot receive Pell at more than one school in the same semester and they cannot receive more than 50% of their Pell award in a single semester.
