I just made a correction on my Fafsa 2017-2018 and I noticed that the school I’m going to ( Fullerton college) took out my Pell grant which I qualified for, I’m sure that I’m still qualified after the correction but the things is I’m applying to Cal State fullerton too bc I’m going to transfer there next spring 2018. Does anyone know why they took out my Pell grant or is it going to be transferred to the new school?
You need to speak with your financial aid office to find out why you are now longer eligible for PELL. If you are not eligible at your current school uouvprobably will not be eligible when you transfer
What was the correction you made? That may give a clue as to what happened.
As I checked my SAR. I’m still qualified for the grant. I just change switched tmr he income of my parents( the gross total stay the same)
I just switched my parents’s income and the total gross is the same. And I recaived all the mail that it has been processed successfully . And just check my SAR, they stated in there that I am qualified for the grant up to $5770
The school’s computer system is probably set up to remove the Pell grant if something changes that needs to be reviewed, or if the student was not selected for verification before but is after the change was made. Is there an asterisk next to your EFC on your SAR now? What are the comments that are on your SAR?
