Pell Lifetime Eligibility Used?

What does Pell Lifetime Eligibility mean? I went to the National Student Loan Data System for Students website online and saw that I have used up 287.930% of my Pell Lifetime Eligibility. What does this mean for me? How much financial aid can a student receive within their lifetime? I first began to receive financial aid in 2008, when I began concurrent college classes. I dropped out of that college and now attend a different one ( a community college) in a different state. I was planning on staying until I get my AA (hope to be finished by Spring or Fall 2014), but I am not sure if I should go ahead and transfer in order to get my BA so that I do not use up all of my financial aid before getting my bachelors. What do you guys think?

Pell has a lifetime limit of 600% - basically 6 full time years. You have used almost 3.
