lol I’m from florida too. Congrats guys :)

well if this is a sign you guys did get in, congrats to the both of you!!

<$35000, and I speak for the both of us.

Congratulations Obbypen and 30Rock girl! I so hope that all of us are in Class of '17 together! If so, I may see you in Italian classes, though I am applying to SON.

Did you guys read the dartmouth article?
ED acceptance rate was 29 percent, 5 percent higher than last year.
Interesting that it was such a rough year on CC given those statistics, no?

I applied early decision to Wharton at Penn, and my family income is around 15,000…but I didnt get the email with the waiver. I did submit my financial aid info late, but still… So…guess im rejected?

Obby, how close to the FA deadline did you apply for FA?

I wish I could have aid :(

I am so confused now. As an FA applicant, my dad’s income bracket is around <70000… but I attend an expensive private school cause my dad’s company pays for it. And our school is pretty famous for being rich and all. Do I qualify for a fee waiver? I hope not… I am actually really depressed.

Hey @Obbeypen, what does “I got my email for date change on December 5 on 4:03 p.m.” mean? Your FA fee waiver was notified that day or the date change to Dec 12? And Congrats! I would be really happy if I got that email. I don’t want to jinx but I think it’s a good sign:)

And how does some people know they got rejected?
I am so curious to know.

And just one quick question, for those two of you who received the fee waiver email, did you request for a fee waiver for your common app and supplement applications online? It’s about 75 dollars. Thanks in advance!

^ you’re definitely not qualified for a fee waiver… your family income has to be much lower than that to make Penn not require $400… So don’t worry~

36 hrs & 55 mins left…*sigh

I’m talking about the notification email stating that the date had been moved to December 5th.

@hwarang I turned in an SAT application waiver.

@Obbypen Thanks for answering my questions! And once again, I am really positive about your acceptance to Penn. The Penn email seemed very positive about getting you in the school.

Well my family income is <$40000, so… does this mean I did not get in?

Just over 24 hrs left

Tomorrow’s the big day…called upenn finaid today about the email for $400 fee waiver…told me that they know nothing about it…that’s a relief!!! Good luck to everyone!!!

what kind of IB predictions did you have?

@cowgirlinthesand

That is great news since I am in that low income bracket. Though it begs the question, if the finaid office knows nothing about the email, where did it come from?

It’s obviously just a ■■■■■. Don’t listen to those people.

IDK…the lady was nice and assured me that her office didnt send any emails…I figured it was over but there’s still hope!!!
