Is there a certain amount of years of one subject that Penn looks favorably upon? For example, is three years of lab science too little? I’ll have 4 years of foreign language (3 years Spanish [no AP], 1 year German), 3 years of lab science (no Physics), 4 years of math, 4 years of history/social studies and 4 years of English (and a lot of extra classes in this subject) by application time. Is there anything I’m missing? I’m thinking of applying for comparative lit/creative writing.

get on aim

my hs schedule had 3 years of french, 2 of latin, chem, bio(honors and ap), physics, and 5 maths ending in calc ab.

CHOCO! what's up! i miss us neurotic Penn EDers lol. how's Penn acceptance been treating you?

wonderful. I've been more calm than I certainly was in Dec lol.

I was walking around downtown after school today and I got interviewed by a local news channel. I was wearing my penn hoodie so I think they thought I was a student there. They asked me about the Iraq election. i said it wasnt successful because the Kurds and Sunnis didnt vote much. Now I have to watch the boring news and see if I made it.

i hope you get in renee, you deserve it. good luck.

Hey guys heres my senior year schedule and predicted grades( RD applicant)
IB Biology II HL( A/B+)
Trigonometry ( A)
IB Business (A)
Govt. ( B)
IB English II HL ( B/B+)
IB Chemistry II ( B.. C+ at worst)
IB History HL (A/ B+)

....is this good enough for penn? i showed a huge upward trend btw....2.6 frosh and soph year. 3.6 junior year, and 4'ish weighted this semester. thanks

my friend's schedule:
AP Economic Micro/Macro
AP Government
AP Physic C
AP Chemistry
AP English
who also took AP Physic B, AP Calc BC and AP AP Biology in his junior year,
he got into UPENN by ED, but he just has gotten a 80 and 85 for his AP Govt and AP Physic C.

cool...exact same as me. took 3 IB classes jr. year and 5 senior yr.

junior year ~ honors english, honors precalc/calc A, AP bio
senior year ~ AP: BC calc, macroecon, english, french, government, physics
(but i dont recommend maxing out your AP's senior year... cause after u get accepted the motivation severely goes down)

^^Erm...We just had to sign up for classes next year (I'm a Junior) and I have a lot of AP's next year, compared to this year, mostly because all of the AP classes are for Seniors. ( AP English 12, AP Calculus AB, AP Government, AP Bio)
