Also I haven’t been contacted for an interview yet so I’m really stressed…and I just CAN’T WAIT for my AP English teacher to read the three pages of rambling about a book I didn’t actually read. I was supposed to talk about the effects of exile and how it highlights the meaning of the book. Since I didn’t quite get the meaning of the book :-?
Haha replace “Catch-22” with Slaughterhouse 5 and “AP Gov” with Anatomy/Phys and our lives are basically the same right now. My friends and I keep talking about how bad senioritis will be once we actually get accepted somewhere since it’s already so extreme.
@girl1425 No, I applied to Wharton and my interviewer was from Nursing
@rosewood98 Catch-22 is for a banned books project for AP English. Originally, I was all for slaughterhouse five, thought it was short, but my friend (the one who lectures me) was like Catch-22 looks so good. Idiot. Haha not really. I’m pretty sure I’ll just stop going to school once I get accepted. Last week I took my first fake sick day…ever. And I’m this weird combination of couldn’t care less and really really stressed. I’m pretty sure I just look mentally unstable lol. I did almost cry during AP Bio but that was for an unrelated reason.
omg we are like the same person I literally visit our schools counselor/therapist at least once a week
You guys are crazy haha.
Hopefully we’ll be classmates one day.
@emilyskates Ok first of all whoa because I took my first fake sick day last week too… but yeah I basically spend all my time stressing out (and lurking on CC) instead of doing anything productive and then lying to myself about being chill
@nfhd11214367p0i I settle for wailing about my problems to my best friend in the library during free period. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve been told by a librarian to be quiet to be honest.
Hey, are any of you guys applying to the Nursing school? All I see are all the other schools…
@rosewood98 I also considered taking Tuesday off, but didn’t. And I don’t want to go to school tomorrow. Hahaha I literally went to every single class sophomore year. Didn’t miss any for being sick, appointments, field trips, etc. I’ve fallen so far. And usually I think I do a good job of faking chill, but my cover sometimes slips. Like when I put my phone in my back pocket before calc, dumped the entire contents on my bag on my desk to find said phone, started ranting to the random kid behind me about that, and ended up going into a whole tirade about my life problems.
@luv4penguins I’m applying to the nursing school.
@emilyskates You’re basically describing my life right now. Think about it, it won’t end if we get deferred or rejected
:’(
Am now considering not doing my AP Gov hw because she only checks it half the time…praying that tomorrow is one of those times…I am now thinking about my silly junior year self that used to do a week’s worth of APUSH hw the Friday before. I thought it was a good idea to be prepared (and I really like reading history textbooks, sue me).
Haha I’m glad to see some fellow neurotic/obsessive people who also procrastinate. Sometimes the people on here seem like their lives are way too together and it freaks me out. Also the fact that I’ve written more in this thread than I have for my english hw in the past hour is further evidence of how crazy I am right now
@PancakeGirl100 Do you know if there are a lot of people also applying to the Nursing School, because I know that it’s a really small class of students each year…
Hey guys do you know if it’s the school that accepts applicants or is it admissions in general? Like if I am applying to Nursing school, will the program be the one deciding if I get in or just admissions. Also do you know if we get compared to other people from our school to get into Penn even if we are applying to different schools in Penn or is everyone compared to each other?
Does anyone know what information does the interviewer have about the applicant?
I recall seeing tips from amanivy and others but can’t find it.
Please help asap! Getting ready for my interview, finally.
@shivaya
They don’t have any info other than your name, address, and email/phone number. And they aren’t supposed to ask you about what schools your’e applying to
Good luck!!
@emilyskates Same. Ballroom and Macro are the only times I really do anything. Law is for using my phone (and browsing CC!), AP Gov is for sleeping…
