<p>Hi, I got accepted ED to Penn, but my financial aid package was not finalized yet, so I was wondering if agreeing to the ED contract finalizes my financial aid package(I was thinking no. But I'm hearing otherwise. The deadline for the reply is January 5th). </p>

<p>In addition, how much is Penn's financial aid program willing to help? For most of the financial aid forms required, it was for 2013, but at the end of 2013, my parents were both unemployed, so our family income for 2014 is extremely low(went from 70k to about 20-30k). I also have 3 younger siblings. </p>

Contact the Penn Financial Office on Monday (I believe their 800 number is on the Penn website) and tell them your financial information has changed. I know from past experience that they want to know this and will help you. Good Luck!!!

My son got a decent package.When it was reduced his sophomore year, I wrote a letter and asked why and showed just how much funding we really did have for him. Upon review, they bumped it back up. So I think they are very fair.
